Valued Box Seat clients
We have several meeting rooms usually available for your use, either just for some quiet work space, or to meet with your clients or staff, as well as office space set up as a business hub providing Wifi, tea and coffee facilities. We have car parking available at the front of our building and you are more than welcome to use any of these facilities without cost, whenever the need may arise, if it is not otherwise being used – so it would be best to reserve the space. We have an extranet facility that you may use to store documents specific to your business and not accessible by others, if you’re interested we can provide a ‘how to’ document upon request.
Zoe Patterson our fabulous Receptionist can assist you with reserving this office or meeting space, so please contact her on 06 757 5183 or email Zoe at Zoe.Patterson@abmm.co.nz.
We provide a number of excellent publications for our clients, the quarterly Lawlink eConnect Newsletter and our own ‘Your Box Seat’ update on specific topical issues should you wish to receive them. Along with these newsletters we have access to first-rate Lawlink sourced informational brochures on a wide variety of subjects from Estate Administration to Your Business and the Law. From time to time we deliver seminars on topical subjects, like Contracts 101 or Immigration that may be of interest to you.
Women in Leadership
We had Liana Poutu speak at our most recent Women in Leadership meeting on the 13th of August 2014.
Liana was born and raised in New Plymouth and attended New Plymouth Girls’ High School before graduating from Waikato University with a B.A/L.L.B (Māori). Liana commenced legal practice in 2001 with Russell McVeagh in their Wellington Māori Legal, Litigation and Public Law teams. In 2008 she joined Kāhui Legal where she was a senior solicitor until her secondment to Taranaki Iwi in 2010; she is currently the Pouwhakahaere / General Manager. She’s had extensive experience representing iwi groups before the Waitangi Tribunal and in the Maori Land Court.
Women in Leadership events provide an opportunity to network (while enjoying good food and drink), share stories, and give and receive help and support. We enjoy speakers from diverse backgrounds who inspire and encourage their audience with their experience of leadership.
For further information, or to be added to the mailing list for future events, contact Marie Callander firstname.lastname@example.org or phone (06) 759 5313.
