Women in Leadership
On Monday 08 May 2017, our speaker was Ann-Marie Broughton, Kawhakahaere of Te Kaahui o Rauaru. She spoke about her experience of leadership and in particular about sustainability in leadership. She shared from both her personal and professional life including about her mother (the amazing leadership that she has given to the family and the positive change that her leadership has brought about in ending the cycle of alcohol fuelled domestic violence) and the lens of mana Atua, mana tangata, mana whenua and mana kai through which she evaluates entrepreneurial projects.
Thursday 13th July - Kirsten Patterson, Chief Executive of the Institute of Directors.
Kirsten was formerly the Country Head of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
She is a qualified lawyer, Chartered Fellow of the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand, and has extensive governance and leadership experience.
