Employment Advice and Assistance Clinics

Stuck with a difficult employee?  Wondering how you undertake an investigation into an incident in your workplace?  Do you know what to think about when running a disciplinary meeting?  What do you pay your employee for working 3 hours on a Public Holiday?

Managing staff, particularly in a small business, can be challenging at times.  Busy employers generally don’t have the time or resources to ensure that their staff processes and procedures meet current employment legislation requirements.

Knowing the key requirements of the legislation governing employment is essential.  Employers need to have a sound understanding of the rights and responsibilities surrounding an employment relationship in order to deal with their staff fairly and correctly, which in turn can lead to a productive and engaged workforce.

In answer to the numerous challenges daily facing business owners, here’s how Auld Brewer Mazengarb & McEwen

  • An opportunity for you to have a 20-minute session at our Employment Relations/Human Resources Clinics, held on the Chamber’s premises;

  • The sessions will be held each fortnight to enable you to schedule a session to suit your busy timetable.
