The Partners of Auld Brewer Mazengarb & McEwen are delighted to announce that Marie Callander and Jeremy Hucker are joining them as Partners from 1 April 2016.
Marie joined the firm in 2010 having previously practiced in a leading South Island firm. The main areas of practice that Marie works in are corporate governance, commercial, banking, energy sector, charities and Māori Law.
Outside of the law, Marie is a member of the Institute of Directors (and the Taranaki branch committee of the Institute), on the Board of Presbyterian Support Central Incorporated and co-ordinates Women in Leadership events. Marie and her husband Andrew have three adult sons spread across the country and the globe and deep family roots in South Taranaki.
Jeremy has been in practice for over fifteen years and has been with ABMM since 2013, having previously been in partnership in a Wellington firm. His areas of expertise include property, corporate and commercial, finance and banking, trusts, and estate planning.
Outside of the law, Jeremy is an active member of the Rotary Club of New Plymouth North and is the incoming President of the Club for 2016/2017. Jeremy grew up in Hawera and he and his wife Joanne have three young children who keep them very busy.
