Philip's 11 years of experience comprises working in litigation teams in both the private and public sector.
Philip specialises in commercial litigation and employment law. As a former prosecutor at the Department of Labour, he regularly conducted prosecutions in the District Court on behalf of the Department for breaches of Health and Safety legislation. He has also conducted litigation in a number of other Courts and Tribunals including the Court of Appeal (as junior counsel), High Court, Employment Relations Authority and Human Rights Review Tribunal.
Philip also has experience in advising on immigation matters and appearing in the Immigration and Protection Tribunal.
Philip has particular expertise and knowledge in:
- Preparation and review of employment agreements
- Resolving disputes, including representation in the High Court, District Court and Specialist Tribunals
- Immigration
- Employing foreign workers
- Advising on issues relating to health and safety legislation and representation in prosecutions
- Enforcement of judgments including appearances at examination of judgment debtor hearings
